Gucci bags most emblematic of all time

1. The Gucci Canvas Suitcase

As the Italian sanctions imposed by the WW2, Guccio Gucci, began to explore alternative materials such as hemp and cotton, and the generally emblematic tonic-patterned GG fabric was born. His first role featured? On a series of suitcases in the late 1930s.



The success of these cotton canvas vessels continued long after the lifting of sanctions. Today, the Supreme GG (as the patterned canvas is now known) reign, well, the supreme of the most popular Gucci bags, from the Classic Boston to the new Ophidia.

2. Gucci bamboo

Towards the end of the war, when materials were still in capital letters, Gucci craftsmen have developed a bending heating and bamboo rod method (which could always be imported from Japan) to create bag handles to strong and rigid hand.

4. Flora Gucci

The painter flora model was originally designed by the son of Guccio, Rodolfo Gucci, for Grace Kelly in 1966. She had visited the designer of her workshop, looking for a silk scarf. Cimmingling its current position as one of the most influential voices of fashion, Michele quickly released a succession of convincing bags instantly, each dripping drama. A stand-out, the Dionysus is a sophisticated and structured style defined by an aged metal clasp with two heads of tiger - one head to its name of God, which would lead a tank of big cats.

8. The Gucci Sylvie
